​Art is a reflection of our culture. It must be accessible and inclusive.

 

The County is the perfect place to open up your mind to many choices of Art. It is a vibrant area for all types of art.   A place where you can open up to what is new, original and exciting and not necessarily what everyone else thinks of as 'Art'.

A selective process for art never gives anyone real choice. After all, you are the 'eye of the beholder'! In general, Art flows and changes always and all ways. For example, sculptors who worked with recycled metal were not trendy until recently - neither was Maud Lewis's folk art.

We want to serve the public with frequent well-promoted venues that would feature more of our local 'creators'.  Especially our group of small local handmade homemade vendors.  We want to also use these venues to help our area's micro-economy by fundraising for our 'local' community.
